Team 426

Hi! I've been at UNC for a looooong time (26 years) and most of you know me as the Director of Undergraduate Studies.

I have taught some version of this course for over 20 years as the web evolved. I'm excited to be inheriting a completely revamped and modernized version from the incomparable Ajay Gandecha. Unfortunately for you, I will be a poor substitute, but I'll try my best.

I'm a 2nd-year Master's student in Computer Science. During my internship this past summer with a startup, I developed a strong interest in full-stack development, both frontend and backend. Being a TA for this course is a great chance to refresh a lot of concepts, and I'm excited to keep learning new things along the way!

I've been a dancer for the past 16 years 😃.

My name is Luke and I am a fourth year CS student who took Comp 426 with Ajay last fall. I've been coding since sophomore year of high school, and I started with web-programming, though I'd say I am more full stack now.

A fun fact about me is that I love traveling (I've been to 40+ countries!).

I’m a senior studying Computer Science at UNC Chapel Hill. I have experience with mainly frontend but I am delving into more backend through my time as a TA for various computer science classes, as well as my work as a Director of Development at HackNC. I’m still learning, but I can’t wait to see what I can do with what I’ve learned!

For a fun fact, I once befriended the stray cat on campus named Beans before she got adopted. One time, after a long day of final exams, Beans kept me company and sat with me in the drizzling rain in front of Old East for an hour.
